Through years of forming partnerships with many charities and companies alike, Challenger continues to make a positive difference in our community. We raise awareness of needs and share the importance of giving back with our employees.
Challenge to Make a Difference
Companies and individuals can participate together and make a positive impact. You can volunteer your time or donate resources to our annual Scholarship drive, Back to School drive, and Holiday Wishes drive. Additionally, Challenger Drilling, Inc. has given back through volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, participating in the MS150, providing assistance to flood victims, providing meals to first responders, items of need to homeless shelters, supplies to boys and girls homes, and much more.
Join the Scholarship Drive
Since 2014, Challenger Drilling has partnered with Inspiring HANDS, a Houston based non-profit charitable organization that is operated by volunteers and fully funded by donations. 100% of the proceeds go to their Scholarship Fund. Up to $20,000 in annual scholarships are provided to those with special and financial needs for Equine Therapy and Summer Camp. Challenger has been a main sponsor of these annual scholarships and Inspiring HANDS fundraising events. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE
Join the Back to School Drive
Challenger collects supply filled backpacks for Title I Elementary aged students in the greater Houston area. Drop-off at 14102 Pine Meadow Ln Tomball, TX 77377 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm July 1st through 31st.
Join the Holiday Wishes Drive
Challenger helps fulfill the holiday wishes of children in our community who are in need. Names, ages, and wish lists of individuals are available for direct sponsorship. For further information, please contact us at charity@challengerdrilling.com
Requesting a Donation
In order to be eligible for donation consideration, you must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization and complete and submit all of the following information
- Donation Request Form (Click Here)
- IRS W-9 Form (Click Here)
- Verification of Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Tax-Exempt Status
Submit requests via email to charity@challengerdrilling.com at least sixty days in advance from the date needed in order to allow for processing time.
Specifically, our corporate giving guidelines do not permit us to donate to the following:
- Annual Conferences/Conventions
- Individual Gifting
- Intermediary Donations
- School Incentive/Reward Programs
- Political Parties, Associations & Representatives of Advocacy Groups
- Organizations that Discriminate by Race, Creed, Gender, Sexual Orientation, Age, Religion or National Origin, or Disability
- Religious Organizations, Churches and Programs that are Purely Denominational in Purpose
- Research Projects
